Certification Examinations for Clinical Nephrology Technology & Biomedical Nephrology
New Practice Tests Available
The National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO) is pleased to announce
the availability of two new online practice tests, in clinical nephrology technology
(CCNT) and in biomedical nephrology technology (CBNT). For those nephrology technicians
interested in taking either the CCNT or the CBNT certification examination, the online
practice test can give them an idea of what it is like. Each practice test consists of
50 questions, has a testing time of two hours, and is taken over the internet at any
time. After completing the online practice test, the technician will receive an instant
score report showing test performance in each of the content areas. Although the score
report does not provide correct answers, technicians might find it helpful to review
those areas of weakness indicated on the score report when preparing for the
certification examination. Each practice test is available for $60, payable by credit
card online. For more information, go to www.ptcny.com
and scroll down to the section on Online Practice Tests.
The National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO) is uniquely qualified
to provide certifications that meet the requirements of the new CMS ruling. The
examinations are developed by respected experts in the field and are updated periodically
to reflect changes in the industry and current medical requirements. In addition,
NNCO has partnered with Professional Testing Corporation (PTC) to ensure its credentialing
process is psychometrically sound and meets appropriate standards for professional
designation. For more information, visit the PTC website at www.ptcny.com.
